Sound diesel locomotive SP 9102 "Modified", including PIKO sound decoder
New in 2025: Diesel locomotive KM 4000 in the SP 9102 version. The original SP KM 4000 locomotives began their lives as almost identical triplets. But over the years they were changed and differed significantly from one another.The faithful PIKO replicas show the locomotives as they were in the mid-1960s and take into account the structural and color features. These include side air intake grilles, filter boxes and roof vents as well as exposed exhaust systems with flap valves. The locomotive also accurately reproduces the color features of the SP 9102.The powerful motor, in combination with the perfectly balanced flywheels, ensures that the machine runs smoothly. The various light functions are implemented using the latest LED technology and can be easily switched digitally using a suitable decoder. The sound versions are equipped with a sound decoder and matching loudspeaker at the factory. The locomotives do not have an NEM coupling shaft.
