The locomotives of the class 2095, procured from 1958 onwards, formed the backbone of the Railroad_ÖBB - Austrian Railways, Country_Austria on the diesel-operated narrow-gauge lines for decades. The Railroad_ÖBB - Austrian Railways, Country_Austria used them in passenger and freight traffic, especially when transporting rollbocks and roll wagons.
The 2095s were used on the narrow-gauge lines of the Ybbstalbahn, the Bregenzerwaldbahn, the Krimmlerbahn, the Waldviertelbahn and on the so-called "Krumpe". The "Krumpe""Crook" connected Ober-Grafendorf with Gresten and is closed down today.
