Steam locomotive Ty2 (ex DRB BR 52) of the Polish State Railways. Form variation! Update! Drive on two axles of the tender and via cardan shaft on all five locomotive driving axles.

The steam locomotives of the Ty2 class of the Polish State Railways were used from 1942. It is a class 52 war locomotive of the German State Railway. After the Second World War, 1,207 locomotives from this class remained with the PKP. Until steam traction was no longer used, the Ty2 was the largest locomotive series in Poland. Several locomotives from this class have survived to this day.
