First presented in 1954, the Schuco Micro Racers have meanwhile made a come-back as an essential part of the Schuco Classic range. With their solid and highly robust metal construction, the Schuco Micro Racers continue to radiate the irresistible charm of the classical, mechanical toys of our youth. A Micro Racer is equipped with a particularly fast-acting, long-throw suspension, the so-called micro-screw with which the steering can be adjusted with millimetric precision for targeted travel and a control lever by means of which the suspension can be locked and the free-wheel started.

The new edition of the VW Beetle Micro Racers, which is still produced using the original Schuco tools, lacks nothing in quality and function compared to the original. With the Micro Racer VW Beetle as a building kit, you can learn about and get to understand the complex Micro Racer mechanics as you assemble the model. The building kit is supplied in an attractive, nostalgic gift package. A reprint of the original packaging from the 50s is also included in the set.
