Schuco 450268300 - VW Beetle 1600i with Eriba Puck trailer 1:43
pre-production sample
LIMITED EDITION 500
From the autumn of 1992 onwards, the VW Beetle 1600i was available to the domestic beetle fan community via various sales channels such as DIY stores, supermarket chains and also the occasional small direct importer. The VW Beetle, which was only manufactured in Mexico at the time, had an alarm system, maintenance-free valves, an injection system and a catalytic converter for the first time. The 46 BHP and 1600 ccm Boxer engine helped the 1600i to achieve respectable driving performance by Beetle standards.
