Product Description

The Marder armored personnel carrier is an armored fully tracked vehicle and the main weapon system of the mechanised infantry. The Marder has a fixed crew of three soldiers. 6 other soldiers can be transported in the rear combat compartment, who are deployed for infantry combat. The weapons system consists of a 20mm on-board automatic cannon, a coaxial machine gun and the Milan anti-tank missile system. The special effectiveness of the mechanised infantry manifests itself in the ability to quickly switch between fighting on and off the vehicle. The Marder has a 600 BHP MTU diesel engine and reaches speeds of up to 65 kilometers per hour with a range of 200 kilometers overland and up to 500 kilometers on the road.

Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Marder 1A2 to a scale of 1:87. Military models come with a metal body and chassis. As is expected of Schuco models, a number of key features have been reproduced exactly with the greatest attention to detail.
