Schuco 452639500 - Mercedes Benz /8, pastel blue 1:87

The Mercedes-Benz /8 was first presented to customers in 1968, where the /8 stands for the presentation year. This saloon with very modern styling superseded the tail-fin model of the Mercedes-Benz range on sale since 1959. As a 200-series model, the vehicle produced 95 PS and reached a top speed of 165 km/h. Up until production was discontinued in 1976, more than 1.8 million of the /8 vehicles were produced.

Schuco is going to produce a miniature model of this Mercedes-Benz /8 to a scale of 1:87. Edition 1:87 models come with a metal body and chassis.
