Trix 16663 - Class 144 Electric Locomotive
Model: The locomotive has a built-in DCC digital decoder and sound generator. The LED headlights and marker lights change over with the direction of travel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons and cab ladders. The buffer beams swing out prototypically.
The locomotive has NEM coupler pockets. The roof conductors are made of metal and there are separately applied insulators. Cab 1 has interior details and digitally controlled cab lighting.
Length over the buffers 96 mm / 3-3/4".
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) electric locomotive, road number 144 071-8, as it looked around 1980. B-B wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1932.
