Trix 22132 - TEE class DE 1001
Prototype: Dutch State Railways (NS) class DE 1001 through 1003 express rail car train. Diesel electric powered end car, compartment car, dining car, and open seating car with an engineer's cab. Same design as the Swiss class RAm TEE I 501 and 502. Built in 1957, original version from Era III. Used for Trans Europe Express service in Switzerland, Germany, and the Benelux countries.

Model: The frame for the powered end car is die-cast metal. The train has a 21-pin digital connector with a bridge plug for conventional operation. It also has a 5-pole motor with skewed commutator segments and a flywheel, centrally mounted in the powered end car. Both trucks are powered through cardan shafts. The headlights are warm white LEDs; they can be controlled digitally after a decoder is installed. The 66719 lighting kit can be installed in the train. The train has continuous electrical connections and special close couplings with a guide mechanism between the cars. The engineer's cab in the powered end car has a figure of an engineer. The train has separately applied metal grab irons. The train has a reproduction of a Scharfenberg coupler at both ends.
The minimum radius for operation is 419 mm / 16-1/2".
Total train length 1,130 mm / 44-1/2".
