Trix 22290 - Diesel Switch Engine V 90 with Telex Couplers
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class V 90 heavy switch engine. Era III version in "old red" paint scheme. B-B wheel arrangement. Use: Switching service, hump yard service, freight service on short routes.
Model: The frame and the main part of the body are constructed of die-cast metal. The locomotive has Telex couplers and a DCC decoder. It also has a powerful can motor with a bell-shaped armature, centrally mounted. 4 axles powered through cardan shafts. Traction tires. The headlights and marker lights are maintenance-free LEDs. The headlights and marker lights will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has engineer's cab interior details in relief. It also has separately applied grab irons. Additional steps are included. The locomotive has NEM coupler pockets.
